Replacement of Postgraduate ID Booklet | 1. After issuing the loss announcement in your postgraduate cultivation unit, you should go to either Room 512 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus (Tel.: 23508464) or Room 246 of Integrated Service East Building in Jinnan Campus (Tel.: 83858737) to apply for the Loss Announcement in Nankai University Newspaper. 2. After the announcement appears in newspaper, you should replace the Postgraduate ID Booklet with the original newspaper and a piece of one-inch ID photo. Then please go to either Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus (the whole procedure will take 3 working days). The magnetic railcard can only be replaced in every March and September together with the freshmen. |

English Certificate of Graduation | You should download the “English Template and Sample of Certificate of Graduation” from the “Enrollment Management” section of the “Cultivation Work” column in the “NKU Graduate School” website, fill it in and print it out as required. Then please go to the Student Enrollment Division of Academic Affairs Office for verification and stamping, either at Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or at Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus. You can have an immediate settlement in Jinnan Campus while you need to wait for three working days for delivery in Balitai Campus. For any inconvenience to pick up the files, please send the electronic form of your English Certificate of Graduation to yjsypyb@nankai.edu.cn for review, enclosing your mailing address, contact details and other needed information, which can be sent by SF Express with freight collect. If you need a sealing service, please provide your own envelope. |

Procedures of Suspension and Resumption of Schooling | You should download the “Approval Forms of Suspension or Resumption” and print in triplicate from the “Enrollment Management” section of the “Cultivation Work” column in the “NKU Graduate School” website. Please countersign all the listed items and submit to the Student Enrollment Division of Academic Affairs Office, either at Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or at Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus. After that, two of the Approval Forms will be kept in Student Enrollment Division of Academic Affairs Office and one sent back to the Postgraduate Teaching Management Department in your school. After that, one approval form will be kept in the Graduate School and the other sent back to your postgraduate cultivation unit. Procedures of Discontinuing Studies | You should download the related approval forms and print in triplicate from the “Enrollment Management” section of the “Cultivation Work” column in the “NKU Graduate School” website. Please countersign all the listed items, have them stamped and apply for the signature and approval by the Director of the Graduate School and the President, either at Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or at Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus. After the approval of the President, you will be called to receive the Approval Form of Discontinuation, by which you can apply for the Disengagement Slip. Finally, you will be returned with the Discontinuation Decision, either at Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or at Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus. You are required to finish the Household Registration Transfer, Student IC Card Cancellation and other procedures with your Discontinuation Decision (Location of the Household Registration Management Office: No.5 Building, West District Student Apartment, Balitai Campus; Tel.: 23507997). Finally, you should return the Discontinuation Decision and the Approval Form of Discontinuation to apply for the Archives Transfer in the Archives Office of Employment Guidance Center (Location: Door 8, Su 21, Balitai Campus; Tel.: 23499994). If you have withdrawn from graduate school for one academic year and have met the requirements for discontinuing study, NKU can issue the Certificate of Attendance. If your enrollment is less than one academic year, NKU can issue the Certificate of Study after your application. Procedures for Postgraduates to Change Names and Other Personal Information | To change your name, correct your ID card number and date of birth and other personal information, you should go to the Student Enrollment Division of Academic Affairs Office with your new ID card and the Certificate of Change issued by the Household Registration Department of the Public Security Bureau, either at Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or at Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus. |

Further Education Procedures | With two pieces of one-inch ID photos, you should fill in the “Application Form for Further Education of Nankai University Postgraduate Courses” and submit them to the Student Enrollment Division of Academic Affairs Office, either at Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or at Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus. After the approval, you should apply for the Further Education Certificate, and finish the payment, accommodation and student IC card application with your approval form. You are required to sign up for the courses and complete the payment in your selected school with the Further Education Certificate. After the courses, with your transcript issued by your selected school, you can apply for the Academic Report in the Academic Affairs Office of Graduate School. |

Procedures of Postgraduates’ Return from Overseas Visits | You should download the related forms and print in duplicate from the “Enrollment Management” section of the “Cultivation Work” column in the “NKU Graduate School” website. Please countersign all the listed items and submit them with your Entry and Exit Certificate to the Student Enrollment Division of Academic Affairs Office, either at Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or at Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus. After that, one approval form will be kept in the Student Enrollment Division of Academic Affairs Office and the other sent back to the Postgraduate Management Department in your school. |

Train Ticket Discount Procedures | At present, NKU has implemented the railcard self-service. The railcard will be issued with your Postgraduate ID Booklet, which initially contains four times of discount. Your personal information needs to be registered through the self-service machine of train ticket discount. Four self-service machines of train ticket discount in the NKU are respectively located at: 1. Self-Service Hall in 1F, Integrated Service West Building, Jinnan Campus (two sets); 2. Self-Service Hall in 1F, Faculty and Student Service Building, Balitai Campus; 3. The First Entrance Hall of Student Center, Balitai Campus. During your academic years, NKU will issue you a railcard. The railcard has the limit of magnetization times according to your length of schooling. Each magnetization includes four times of train ticket discounts, which are designed for the winter and summer vacation. Unused discounts will not be accumulated after new magnetization. You are allowed to modify the travel range once during the academic semesters. For modification, please bring your Postgraduate ID Booklet to the Student Enrollment Division of Academic Affairs Office, either at Room 209 of Faculty and Student Service Building in Balitai Campus or at Room 320 of Integrated Service West Building in Jinnan Campus.
