This Office is responsible for postgraduate management and their political education. It is responsible for the organization and implementation of Gongneng quality-oriented education; the construction of postgraduate Party organizations and class collectives; training and management of postgraduate Party members and cadres; application of reward and punishment systems to postgraduates; scholarship evaluation and distribution; providing financial aid to students in financial difficulties and other tasks related to teacher assistants, research assistants and assistants in management of school affairs; the reform of postgraduate education system, tasks involving the Graduate Union, mental health education for postgraduates, career guidance and dormitory management and dormitory culture construction;training and assessment of postgraduate counselors, and the safety and stability of postgraduate students. And the Office is also obliged to fulfill tasks assigned by higher authorities and school leaders.
